How the job ad writes your CV for you

This might sound like an over-exaggeration, but actually a job advert gives a lot of clues about how you should put together your CV or application to apply for the role.

By looking at the langage used and reading between the lines, you can gain a huge amount of insight into what the recruiter is looking for.

I get sent email alerts about any news or blog posts that have been written about careers and graduate recruitment. And although this blog was written last Autumn, it was sent to me today, and I think it is worth passing it on.  It is from the Guardian Careers Blog and is all about how the job ad writes your CV for you.

For further information on CVs and skills see the resources page of the QM Careers Centre website as well as Careers Tagged.
